Hey to all the gamers out there that have found their way to J3I Games. It's been a long time since we've posted, and it's been a difficult year for all of us. Perhaps the only good thing to come from all this is that we have had a little extra down time to work on our projects. NetherQuest has been on the top of the list during this time. The release of NetherQuest 0.85 brings some much needed changes to gameplay and a full-scale NPC graphic overhaul, painstakingly produced through our very own facemaker. It's always a relief to get the updates out there, and we are excited to begin working on 0.86.
We hope you and your family are well, and if you have time, download the newest update from the homepage link and let us know what you think.

Hello there WCB Fans! It's certainly been a busy few days for J3I Games. Having been released on Steam, we've received a lot feedback about the game and congratulations from our gaming fans. The fact is, however, that it is we who should be thankful. J3I Games recognizes and appreciates all those who take the time to check out website, share our posts on social media, and purchase our little game! We are humbled by the response and remain vigilant in making the game better for those who play it. In the coming days, we hope to release version 1.5.2 on Steam and HumbleBundle. This will fix a critical error found by our playtesters, some smaller errors, and reflect the process of graphics improvements we are undertaking.
Be sure to like our facebook page here: www.facebook.com/j3igames It's always a good feeling when hard work pays off! That's just how we here at J3I Games feel right now following our addition to the Steam Store. Regardless of how many games we sell, we can finally say that our game has access to the world. We know that there is an entire planet of people who love games as much as we do and it's nice to know that our little family's game may bring smiles the world over!
We want to thank everyone that has shared, commented, liked, contributed, etc., to our cause. J3I Games understands that a game only lives if it has players and we appreciate all of you taking the time to help WCB's heart beat. May 2018 bring us all a little closer! Hey J3I Gamers! Today I wanted to talk about our plans for 2018!
Hello World Circuit Boxing fans! As you know, the holidays are upon us. And we wanted to make sure that we took the time away from game creating to wish you and yours a very special, safe, and happy holidays. May you enjoy the time with family and friends and may the approaching year bring you ever closer to the ones you love.
Hello WCB fans! We here at J3I Games have been working hard to maintain an always-more-polished version of World Circuit Boxing! As the school year winds down, we want you to know about what's going on here J3I Games.
For starters, we've updated and released version 1.4.4 with a few minor fixes and a few new systems. You can read more about the release on our home page. Secondly, we have announced a 60% off sale, we call the 'Out 4 Summer Sale', which will commence on June 1 of this year and continue throughout the month. Lastly, there are new plans in the works. At the suggestion of one of our favorite playtesters--my nephew--we will be implementing a system by which each gym can operate a shop, selling their old equipments and boosters to other gyms who may be in more need of the items. This will include the ability to set the price on the items and make it more fun to play World Circuit Boxing with your friends. We remain open to suggestions from you, the players and fans, of World Circuit Boxing and hope that you will contact us through our email, facebook, or twitter to let us know what changes you would like to see in your favorite boxing game! Hello WCB fans and fight enhtusiasts! Did you all see the Klitschko fight? Can you believe he lost?! What about those Americans? Is Deontay Wilder the best heavyweight we've seen since Lennox Lewis? Or is it all hype?! I guess only time will tell. Anyway, we want you the gamer to know that today we released version 1.3.9! We here at J3I Games are excited to bring this newest version to you and hope that you enjoy it. Check out the News page for the details and enjoy!
James Just finished what I hope is the last update for a while. I've been thinking of adding the 'Cut system' into the game for a long time now. And at last, it has been completed. There may be some tweaking of the system in future updates. I'll have to get some feedback before I do so. But anyway, the ringside doctor can now stop the fight if a fighter's blood meter reaches it's max. This gives the fightcast scene an extra dimension. Also, it will spare your fighters a bit of health loss due to extra long bouts when they're getting beat up pretty badly.
This version also includes updates to the Help Scene that was introduced in Version 1.1.0, as well as adds some cool new features like an installer which can guide the user through the installation process. Also, a desktop icon that I've been working on. There's some minor fixes, too. And one critical once, where giving a fighter a 'Defender' powerup prior to the fight was resulting in random crashes! Sorry bout that. Anyway, it's fixed now and ready to go. We have a facebook page now, and you can like it from the link on the home page. We have also released the game on several other indie sites and are waiting response from them. We're also looking into getting a review from some review sites that will help bring the game we love to more gamers. Here's a screenshot of the cut system in action. And another featuring the new background for most of the scenes that has been implemented in this new version.
This is the video trailer we've released for our first game, World Circuit Boxing! Special thanks to Warren "Hitman" Browning for contributing some images used in the video.
Well, I've been working on getting WCB updated and can finally say, that version 1.1.0 is now available! This will not be the last update, but it was probably the most stressful one to make. The reason for this, is that this update includes the dreaded 'Help' scene. If you have played WCB, then you'll probably say, 'Dang! There wasn't much to that scene!' And well, you'd be right. From a programming point of view, it isn't much. Couple of windows, some text, etc. But I've been dreading this update for a while. As the game's programmer, I must say, I have much more difficulty in explaining how to play the game thoroughly, than I do, putting things together and figuring out processing orders and such. So, anyway, it's here and you may turn to the in-game help scene, anytime you don't understand how to do something. So that should make you happy. The next update will contain the new 'blood' mechanic that I'm working on, that will enable fights to be stopped due to bad cuts. Enjoy it, my freinds, and don't forget to check back in for all our new game projects.
